Here we have a nice set of Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble vinyl toys. Their bodies seem to be more of a normal vinyl while the heads are slighltly softer (like a slightly tougher Rubber Duck or something). Theres an imprint on the back of their necks that says Hanna Barbera Prods 1960. From the info I could find these were made by the Knickerbocker Toy Company.\r

Im actually surprised these two werent worth a bit more given the age (If the 1960 date is right then it makes these some of the earliest Flintstones toys produced). They display well and have an interesting look (given Barneys green hair and their green toe nails). I guess due to the show originally being broadcast in black and white they just went with it, not sure about the toe nails though. These are actually part of a set that also included Wilma and Betty (which were exactly the same, just with different color schemes) and Dino and Baby Puss. \r

Where to Buy?\r
\r
You can check ebay. I would probably stay away from the Buy-It-Now prices and wait for an auction. I got both of these individually for under $30. Ive seen the set of Fred and Barney selling for $100+ in nice shape. I recommend using search strings like Flintstones 1960 , Flintstones Vinyl and Flintstones Knickerbocker. They are pretty rare though, I would suggest checking out pictures to make sure the condition is good, bear in mind that these are 50+ years old so even if it looks good in a picture or 2 that may not be the case. They should also have a fleshtone color to their skin.\r
