Haridwar, Feb 26 (ANI): Panic gripped Haridwar's Motichoor area when a tiger took away a two-year-old child and killed him. Angry residents blocked the National Highway-72 for two hours and warned the forest department that such incidents should never happen again in the future. Superintendent of Police Shweta Choubey on Friday said the villagers have demanded for electric fencing throughout the forest. She further said that the villagers have also asked for compensation and the government is looking into the matter.
