For this project I used a Red pre-painted flower pot and plate. You may use an unpainted one and just paint it yourself. I recommend you use a 2in1 Spray paint or acrylic paint and clear coat spray. However, using a pre-painted Pot and plate will save you time. All i had to do was paint the white rings on the bottom. I used model car paint that I had already. It works very well!\r

Items you will need:\r
Flower Pot\r
\r
Flower Pot Plate (One that will fit the mouth of glass vase/bowl.)\r
\r
Round Glass Flower Vase or Bowl (Floral section of Walmart)\r
\r
Gum balls or Cookies\r
\r
Ornamental Piece (To place on top of lid for decoration)\r
\r
Hot Glue Sticks\r
\r
Hot Glue Gun\r
\r
Enamel Base Paint\r
\r
Paint Brush\r
\r
Start off by removing all stickers or tags off of the following items:\r
Pot, Plate and Glass vase/bowl. \r
\r
Next paint the uncolored rings on the bottom of the pot and plate.\r
\r
Once dry place a generous amount of hot glue on the bottom of the glass vase/bowl.\r
\r
Next Center the Glass vase/bowl to the bottom of the flower pot and press down firmly until it has bonded. For a longer lasting bond use a clear epoxy.\r
\r
For the lid you will need the ornamental piece you have chosen to go on top of your lid and the flower pot plate. Place a good amount of hot glue on the bottom of the ornamental piece. Center the piece to the bottom of the plate and press firmly until it sets.\r

For a non-slip lid you can place hot glue around the inside of your lid. \r
\r
Now to finish the project fill with candy or cookies!\r
