Exiled Thai ex-prime minister Thaksin says he fears for his life

Former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and his allies have consisitently won parliamentary majorites in elections but military coups have forced him into exile.  
 
Thaksin has told Al Jazeera he can't return, because he fears for his life.
