Haryana BJP president urges Jat agitators to withdraw protest

Chandigarh, Feb 20 (ANI): Haryana Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) President Subhash Barala on Saturday said that the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has accepted all demands of the Jat community protesting for reservation in government jobs, and urged the agitators to withdraw their agitation. He said, “Now that the government has accepted all their demands, the agitators must withdraw their protest. The Government held talks with the khap panchayat leaders and in the all party meeting, the Chief Minister had even said that he wants to give reservation to the Jat community. The Chief Minister even said that he is willing to introduce a bill in this regard,” He further appealed to every section of the society to main peace in the state.
