Jaipur, Feb 19 (ANI): Addressing farmers at Kisan Agricultural Expo 2016, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said genetically modified (GM) crops are not allowed in the state and would not be permitted in the future. Raje said her government would spend three years of her term on "Kisan aur Paani" (farmers and water) to improve the agricultural economy of the state. Raje added that drip irrigation was adopted in sugarcane cultivation in Sri Ganganagar district and farmers have been advised not to depend on flood irrigation as it causes silting due to gypsum soil in the area.
