We know that it is the Tamil remake of Malayalam super hit thriller 'Drishyam' which had Mohanlal in the lead role. It may be relevant to recall that Superstar Rajinikanth was the initial choice to reprise Mohanlal's role in the Tamil remake but the star did not take up the offer since he felt that the role would not go down well with this fans.
