HONOLULU — A tour helicopter reportedly hurtled into the waters of Pearl Harbor Thursday, injuring at least three of the five passengers on board.

The accident, captured on camera by Shawn Winrich, occurred at 10.30 a.m. Thursday morning near the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial.

According to the Honolulu Star Advertiser, a 16-year-old boy was critically wounded in the crash. A 50-year-old man and 45-year-old woman were also injured, but are in hospital in stable condition, NBC News reported.

Federal firefighters pulled two others from the wreckage. NBC News reports that they are not believed to have sustained serious injuries.

The U.S. Navy told the Star Advertiser the helicopter belonged to a company named Genesis Aviation. The company reportedly operates sightseeing tours of Hawaii.

A Google search for that company leads to a website named Genesis Helicopters in Hawaii. Various reports identify the owner of the crashed chopper as Genesis Helicopters or Genesis Aviation.

Officials from the National Transportation and Safety Bureau and Federal Aviation Authority are investigating the accident.
