Sudan Peoples’ Liberation Army (SPLA) on Thursday resumed the process of redeploying its forces outside Juba, as required by the peace agreement that was signed between government forces and rebels in August of last year. The provision stipulates that military forces be moved to at least 25 kilometers (15 miles) outside the center of the capital, with the first batch of 250 SPLA soldiers having redeployed to Mogiri in November 2015.
