Julie 2 is an upcoming Bollywood film written, directed and produced by Deepak Shivdasani and is the sequel of Julie (2004). It features Raai Laxmi in the lead role which marks her debut in Hindi cinema.
Viju Shah composes the film's soundtrack while Sameer Reddy handles the cinematography. Principle photography commenced in September 2015 and lasted for six and a half months. Filming locations include Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Dubai. First look was released on 14 February 2016 coinciding Valentine's Day.
The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 12 August 2016.
