Dog breeders have voiced concerns for the future of endangered breed, the Skye Terrier.
In 2015 only 43 puppies were registered with the Kennel Club making it the second most at-risk species in the UK after Otterhounds which had 34.
Compare that to the 32,000 Labradors which were registered in the same year.
Jan Shuttleworth, who got her first Skye terrier in 1992, has been speaking to BBC Scotland's Gary Robertson about why she is determined to do all she can to save the breed.
