Fire rescue saved an embarrassed 16 y/o Golden Boy from his stuck finger problem by cutting off his ring. The fire department are apparently called out for things like this all the time. The most common are children with fingers stuck in plus holes, but rings too tight is common too.\r

The only thing funnier than a teenager having a really embarrassing accident is having a video tape to remind him of the infamous embarrassing moment forever more. Golden Boys biggest consolation (in absence of having a sympathetic mother ROFL) is that this particular unfortunate event is so common that Fire Rescue actually have a tool specifically designed to cut people free from it.\r

Yes it took some time and negotiation but after all Golden Boy has a sense of humour - so we can share this little gem at last.\r

PS: Poor Golden Boy was really having all all around Bad Day that day. He was on specially prescribed pain killers for a bad back sprain that had him semi-confined to the couch so his judgement wasnt what it usually is. The ring incident is so clear in our minds that months later we cant even remember how it was he injured his back before that.\r
