Just days after participating in the first ever meeting between a Pope and an Orthodox Patriarch of Russia and signing a rousing joint declaration from Cuba, the Pontiff is blazing a spiritual trail through Latin America. The Pope came to lead a public mass in the Mexico City suburb of Ecatepec and over 300 thousand tickets were sold. However, event organisers claimed that around 100 thousand additional worshippers crammed into the holy gathering for a chance to hear the pontiff speak.
