Birgunj, Feb 13 (ANI): Even after six months of prolonged agitation, Madhesis are still fighting for their rights. To make the protest more unified, six major Madhesi forums have formed an alliance so that the government can be pushed to act on their demands. The alliance also took out a torch rally in Birgunj's Ghantaghar area. The alliance is planning to hold a joint protest outside parliament and government offices. Though the border blockade is over, the ongoing discussions between the government and protesting parties over the charter have failed to yield any result. The stand-off is likely to dominate talks between India and Nepal during the next week's visit to New Delhi by Nepal Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli.
