US must consider India’s concerns: former foreign secy

New Delhi, Feb 13 (ANI): Expressing views over the Barak Obama Administration’s decision to notify the sale of eight F-16 Fighting Falcons to Pakistan, former foreign secretary Bhupatray Shashank said history is proof that whenever Pakistan buys military aid, it is always used against India and the trading of F-16 aircrafts will give more aid to Pakistan army to act against India. He further said India’s assessments or concerns must be considered by the U.S. administration to strengthen the democracy of developing countries instead of military aid.
