People rushed to help a family of three get out of their car after it was swallowed up by a 16 and a half foot sinkhole in the north-western Peruvian city of Trujillo on Thursday. After descending into the sinkhole, water started filling up the interior of the vehicle. Due to the quick response of the passers-by, the family were pulled out without any serious injuries. Silva was accompanied by his wife and his three-year old daughter.
