10. Reed Flute Cave, China-

Reed flute cave is 240 meters in length, many parts of the cave also show off illumination. Archaeologists also discovered more 70 inscriptions from the walls of this cave, travelogues and poems from Tang Dynasty (618-918 AD), shows that cave has been main attraction of area from ancient times onwards. It took one full hour to walk through this cave.

The actual meaning of Son Doong Cave is “Mountain river cave”, formed by action of river, eroding away limestone from the underneath of mountain, round 2-5 million years ago. Son doong cave was discovered by a local man named Ho-Khanh in 1191, first survey was done by British cave research team in 2009.
