A powerful earthquake hit southern Taiwan overnight, toppling buildings and killing several people in Tainan city.
This footage shows rescue teams working to save people trapped following the collapse of a 17-storey building, after the quake struck just before 8pm GMT.
According to reports, at least three people died in the incident, including a baby.
The Central Weather Bureau said five aftershocks hit Tainan, all of 3.8 magnitude or more.
More than 300 people may have been injured in the quake, according to reports.
