Here is the beautiful story of Din Din penguin, and João Pereira De Souza, a Brazilian bricklayer.
Our story begins in 2011, on a beach near Rio de Janeiro where a man found a penguin soaked in oil.
João Pereira De Souza picks up the penguin, fed and cleaned it, and when he was strong enough, took him back to the beach, ready to follow his destiny. But the penguin was not leaving. So he brought it to open sea in a boat, and dropped into the water for her to go swimming.
When the man got home, the penguin was there waiting for him.
Which it was strange, because normally, although traditionally penguins migrate thousands of kilometers between Patagonia and feeding areas north of there, Din Din seemed to prefer warm weather and sandy beaches nearby Rio de Janeiro, where he lived the man.
