Andrew Stoner is a successful politician with many years of experience. He was elected in the Parliament of New South Wales as the Nationals Member for Oxley in March 1999. He has also been the Leader of the NSW Nationals for more than 11 years i.e. from March 2003 to October 2014. He was involved in various political party activities such as Oxley Electorate Council Treasurer, Cowper Electorate Council Vice Chairman, Coalition Economic Development Backbench Committee, Deputy Chair, Coalition Advisory Committee on Infrastructure and Transport Services, etc. In April 2014, he was appointed as the Minister for Tourism and Major Events, Minister for Small Business, and Minister for the North Coast besides his existing responsibilities as a minister.
