Staff at a zoo in Tokyo stage an emergency drill on Tuesday, simulating the recapture of an escaped zebra. A zookeeper in a zebra costume breaks through a netted fences and pushes over another zookeeper, before staff eventually sedate and capture the ‘animal’. A total of 150 zoo staff members, police officers and fire fighters participated in the biannual simulation at the Ueno Zoological Gardens.
