I know some really dislike this artstyle and animation and I can respect your sentiments.I THINK ITS MAD GOOD THO! - for those wiht complaints as to the story.I think HIRAO TAKAYUKI AND THE REST AT UFOTABLE are doing an excellent job working with the games story (which you have to keep in mind God Eater is about monster hunting.the story, while entertaining, is nothing mindblowing)\r

THAT GOD EATER GODSAUCE CONTINUES! - BEST GIRL ALISA IS HERE! - UFOTABLE MAINTAINING THAT QUALITY (I love the animation and art style.I know some ppl arent feeling it but ultimately this is subjective). Lenka has the potential to be a really deep and well crafted MC from a blank slate protagonist (only time will tell if he can get on that NARUKAMI YU LVL) - LINDOW IS JUST TOO OG!!\r
This was even better than episode 1 when it comes to pacing, writing and just HOW HARD EVERYTHING WENT. lots of setup, symbolism, foreshadowing and worlding with this episode as well so key in. I cant really dive too deep for fear of spoilers but yea\r

I know this first episode was the result of many helping hands - I hope going forward Ufotable can maintain or improve upon this quality themselves - Hirao Takayuki (kara no Kyoukai Movie 5 Mugen Rasen & Texhnolyze) is killing the direction/cinematography tho\r

Set in Japan in the year 2071 where the world has been mostly destroyed by mysterious monsters known as the Aragami. An organization known as Fenrir was made to exterminate Aragami using weapons called God Arcs which is made from the cells of an Aragami. Those who specialize in exterminating Aragami are known as God Eaters. Originally God Eaters had one type in which their God Arcs can only keep gun form or blade form, however a new type has been discovered that can switch between gun and blade form. Since then, they have been classified new-types and the previous as old-types.
