KARACHI: Lyari’s notorious gang-war supremo Uzair Jan Baloch has been arrested by Rangers in Karachi, Samaa reported Saturday.
According to Rangers spokesman, Baloch was arrested on outskirts of Karachi while attempting to enter the city.

With head-money of Rs.5 million, the main character of Lyari gang war is facing over 55 cases of murders, kidnappings, extortion and terrorism.
Following the arrest, sources said, police and Rangers have been put on high alert, with enhanced patrolling in Lyari in the wake of any possible reaction.

After fleeing from Pakistan, Baloch was arrested on December 28, 2014 by Interpol at Dubai airport where he arrived from Muscat carrying a counterfeit Iranian passport.
Following court proceedings in Dubai, the accused was handed over to Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in February 2015
