KARACHI: Former National Assembly member Nabil Gabol ,on Sunday leveled serious allegations against Pakistan People’s Party leader Sharjeel Memom and former Sindh home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza, accusing them of using notorious gangster Uzair Baloch as their henchman.
Speaking at a Samaa TV talk show, Gabol claimed that Baloch had recorded his statement six months ago, in which he admitted to collecting extortion.
He claimed that Uzair Baloch would only repeat his statement during the interrogation by a Joint Investigation Team (JIT).

“I do know how many murders Sharjeel Memon carried out thorough Uzair Baloch. I am also at a loss to understand why he is facing so many charges of murder, if he is supposed to be a politician,” Nabil Gabol, once a PPP lawmaker from the neighborhood of Lyari, said.
“Time has come for many people to be held accountable since Uzair has spilled the guts in his statement,” he said.
Uzair Jan Baloch, the chief of banned People's Aman Committee, on Saturday made headlines as the Rangers claimed to have arrested him from the outskirts of Karachi.
