Paavada, the recently released super hit movie was initially offered to Shobana, the veteran actress. Shockingly, Shobana rejected the offer because of the lead actor of the movie, Prithviraj. In the recent interview given to Manorama News, producer Maniyanpilla Raju revealed that Shobana rejected the offer, stating the she is not ready to play the role of Prithviraj's mother.
