The Benefactor (originally titled Franny) is a 2015 drama film written and directed by Andrew Renzi. The film starsRichard Gere, Dakota Fanning, Theo James and Clarke Peters. The film follows a philanthropist meddling in the live of a newly-married couple attempting to relive his past. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 17, 2015.[1] The film was released in the United States on January 15, 2016, in a limited release and through video on demand by Samuel Goldwyn Films.
