Comet ISON, formally known as C/2012 S1, was a sungrazing comet discovered on 21 September 2012 by Vitali Nevski (Виталий Невский, Vitebsk, Belarus) .

I heard that there was the potential for a meteor shower from Comet ISON from January 12-15 or so, so I went out three nights in a row to see if I could pick it up.
