Gabriel Chavarria, star of the upcoming drama Lowriders, is being eyed for one of the two main human roles in Planet of the Apes 3. No details were given about his character, but the role is being compared to James Franco's role in 2011's Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The War of the Planet of the Apes has been confirmed as the title for this third installment and make sense, since last year's Dawn of the Planet of the Apes teased an all-out war between the apes and the humans. 20th Century Fox has already set a July 14, 2017 release date.
