Super Mario Sunshine - Gameplay Walkthrough - Part 1 - Disaster in Isle Delfino

2016-01-24 2

This is part 1 of my Super Mario Sunshine gameplay walkthrough for the Nintendo Gamecube! In this part, we start with the cut scene as Mario and co. head for Isle Delfino. On the way, they land on the airstrip awkwardly, due to some paint-like goop prevent them from going any further. However, as they get off, Peach notices another Mario (although the REAL Mario is right next to her). Toadsworth ask Mario to go get some assistance across the shore, but while we are on the airstrip, we talk to the residents, the Piantas, and it seems like theyre accusing Mario of causing this mess (not realizing Mario does NOT have on the same colors as the Mario theyve seen).\r
\r
While on the Airstrip, we find a mysterious, Water Pump device made by Professor E. Gadd, that goes by the name of F.L.U.D.D. F.L.U.D.D will be used throughout most of the game, since Mario has to clean up all the mess that some of the citizens believe that he did it, although there is the imposter Mario. We learn how to use F.L.U.D.D for the situation and we use it to destroy the Polluted Piranha Plant, restoring the damaged airstrip and a shining object appears, but this time around, its not a Star. Its a SHINE SPRITE. After collecting our first Shine Sprite, the Police shows up, walks towards Mario and puts him in jail, as the court decides if he is guilty.\r
\r
Since almost everyone thinks that he did it, Mario basically has to clean up the town (might as well call it community service), due to the judges decision. Dark days are upon Isle Delfino, as F.L.U.D.D explains to Mario that they are the Guardians of the city, before fleeing when the place became polluted.\r

Hope you guys enjoy part 1 of this series! :]\r
