Michael Phelps, 16-time Olympic Medalist, will compete against Ryan Lochte, 6-time Olympic medalist, at the 2012 London Olympic Games. While Phelps has dominated the sport of swimming, Lochte has come on strong since 2008. He topped Phelps as World Swimmer of the Year in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Phelps and Lochte are expected to go head to head in the 200m freestyle, 200m Individual Medley and the 400m Individual Medley. They good friends who will also likely compete on relays together for Team USA, 4x100 freestyle relay, 4x200 freestyle relay and, maybe, the 4x100 medley relay.
