Asylum seekers with red doors in Middlesbrough describe abuse

Asylum seekers in Middlesbrough say they are sometimes targeted by a minority of people in the local community. The Home Office has launched an investigation after claims that asylum seekers’ accommodation in the north-east of England is identifiable by their red doors. G4S, whose subcontractor Jomast is responsible for the doors, has said there is ‘absolutely no such policy’ to identify asylum seeker housing.
