Unfortunately for Cristiano Ronaldo, it was Lionel Messi who walked away with the 2016 Ballon d’Or, but nonetheless, the Portuguese star should be respected for the way he reacted about it.
The Real Madrid forward looked even a bit humble during the ceremony in Zurich, as he didn’t look in any way too disappointed from losing to Messi, as he even complemented the Argentinian for receiving the award. Moreover, just yesterday, Ronaldo revealed that he even acted as a translator for both Neymar and Messi during the media event before the actual start of the gala.
Furthermore, the Portuguese joked that afterwards he even told Messi that he shouldn’t forget about paying him for the translation!
