Veda, a 120-pound, 2-year-old, was out for a walk on a Plymouth beach when she suddenly headed to the shore.
Just before reaching the water, Veda stopped amongst the piles of seaweed and lay down.
When her owners got closer, they spotted a sea turtle that had just emerged from Cape Cod Bay’s dangerously cold waters.
