A lawyer for drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman said that actor Sean Penn should be called to testify in court about an article he wrote after a meeting with the Mexican capo, adding that he would never have claimed to be world's top trafficker.
In the Rolling Stone article published on Saturday Penn wrote that Chapo said he was world's largest provider of heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana.
In an interview with Reuters, lawyer Juan Pablo Badillo said he was sure that Guzman did not say that.
