In the majority Kurdish south-east of Turkey, clashes between PKK separatists and Turkish forces continue at a worrying rate. Since December, several towns and neighbourhoods have been under permanent curfew. In the historic centre of Diyarbakir, six neighbourhoods have been blockaded for 43 days. This war is being fought out behind closed doors. FRANCE 24's correspondents went to meet residents of these districts who have been forced to flee, many of whom have lost everything.
