so a few years ago i was by a friend playing that crap out of his ps3 and i was playing a game called infamous second son and i saw he was shooting out these colored bolts or whatever and as a sat there i wondered can i make something like that .....well a few years later as in today i finally was able to do it,it can also pass for electro's eletric blast from the amazing spider man 2....the effect was all done in adobe after effects ..no plugins were used,just a lot of fast blur to the bolts which were made using adobe after effects lightning effect and changing the colors of some bolts and also use fractal noise...the levitating was done with a green screen
