Mr. Jones (or Bowie, as he is most famously known) just released an album too... i am guessing he worked on the album while dealing with being ill, and he had an awareness that the album may be his last. One of Ms. Cole's final works was one where she covered songs in Spanish.
Bowie's song, 'Fame' (as mentioned in the video) was famous for the guitar (i think i said bass though) line being 'borrowed' by James Brown. As a matter of fact, Carlos Alomar (who formerly worked with Mr. Brown) was the one who played the riff. Bowie actually took the riff from Alomar as well, as the riff came from another song (from Alomar's old band). Maybe Bowie and Brown will have more 'guitar battles' in the afterlife...
