French police shot a man dead on Thursday, on the anniversary of the Charlie Hebdo attacks, after he allegedly rushed at officers at a police station in Northern Paris. Police say the attacker was wielding a knife during the attack but nearby residents say the man was unarmed when he was shot dead.
