A nasty rumor that Janet Jackson may have throat cancer has forced the singer out of silence.
“The rumors are untrue,” she wrote in a video message along with song lyrics from her tune “The Great Forever.”
“I do not have cancer.
I’m recovering.
My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised the postponed shows will be rescheduled.
Thank you for your prayers and love.”
On Christmas Eve, Jackson tweeted that she had to postpone her “Unbreakable” tour due to doctor’s orders.
“I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon… There will be no further comment, ” she tweeted.
Weeks later, Radar reported she had a tumor that could be cancerous and was set to undergo surgery.
On Wednesday, “Extra” reported doctors have cleared the singer to resume her tour in March.
