Philip Hammond, currently on a tour of China, reacts to news that North Korea detonated what it says was a miniaturised hydrogen bomb on Wednesday. The foreign secretary says both the UK and China condemn ‘any attempt by North Korea to obtain nuclear weapons’. He says further sanctions cannot be ruled out.
