Murcha means "swooning" . This pranayama is regarded as one of the best exercises for mental peace and strength.
The steps for Murcha Pranayama are as follow :
1.Sit in an upright position while doing a comfortable asana like Padma-asana.
2. Close your eyes and concentrate on the space between the 2 eyebrows ('Trikuti').
3.Now inhale slowly through the mouth and retain the breath till you feel like fainting.
4. Cut off your connection with the surroundings and focus on the center-point between the 2 eyebrows.
5.Now rest your chin on the chest and then exhale slowly.
If practiced without distraction, it gives divine happiness and makes you feel pleasant and relaxed.
