President Hollande inaugurates Charlie Hebdo memorial

Footage has emerged of the French President and other politicians inaugurating a plaque in memory of the people who died at the Charlie Hebdo headquarters in January 2015 during a terrorist attack.

The video, shot on Tuesday, shows François Hollande and Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo unveiling the plaque which lists the names of those killed last year in the attack.

The plaque reads "In memory of the victims of the terror attack against freedom of expression perpetrated at the offices of Charlie Hebdo on 7 January 2015".

The President also met with the families of some of the victims.
