This was posted a week or so ago. Netflix streaming library of movies has historically been a wasteland of Direct to Video garbage. Unfortunately even after being culled it still is. The selection of TV shows is much better, but even that is going to start waning as Networks start shopping that around more.
Netflix is all about its original content. For a while I was really enamored with Netflix, but I find most of the Netflix original content to be mediocre.

Different times. People nowadays lose their shit over this kind of stuff. I think the media has a lot to do with the increased fear and worry parents have regarding their children over the last few decades. New parents are scared to let their kids walk to school because they're bombarded by stories of kidnapped little girls - no one talks about the millions that make it just fine.
The percent chance of something happening when your kid walks to school (or gets on an airplane) is minuscule. But our minds exaggerate it due to how much we hear about it.
