Horrible footage has emerged from China of an 11-month-old baby receiving surgery to remove a chopstick that got stuck in his right eye socket.
The video, filmed at a hospital in Sichuan Province last week, shows the baby boy crying out in pain before the doctors carry out the operation.
According to news reports, the boy fell off the bed at home and hit a small table where the family had just finished their lunch.
The doctors spent around four hours in the operating theatre an saved the boy from serious, long-term damage.
