Nine-year-old Ben Hebden organised a party for children who were affected by the closure of a local steelworks in Redcar.
In October, around 2,000 jobs were lost in the town when the steelmaking plant was closed. Many thousands more jobs in the supply chain are under threat. The government announced £80m financial package to support workers and local businesses.
The BBC's Panorama programme went along to Ben's party and met some of the children and parents from the area to find out how the town is coping in the run-up to Christmas.
From now until Christmas Day, Panorama will be in Redcar. You can follow this story by liking our Facebook page, following 'bbcpanorama' on Snapchat, and follow this live page.
