In winter 2011, Nobuyuki Tsujii traveled to Hokkaido to visit famed dramatist Satoshi Kuramoto 倉本聰 (then 76 year old). Nobu plays several works on this show, including Chopin's nocturne no. 8 and several impromptus that he composed. At the end of the show, Nobu plays a composition by himself of his impression of the wind and snow that enveloped him that day on a walk with Mr. Kuramoto.
This TV documentary 『風がはこんできたもの』"What the Wind Brings" was aired in Japan on February 2, 2011. Nobuyuki Tsujii was 22 year old at the time, almost two years after he catapulted to fame after winning the Cliburn Piano Competition.
