Heavy rains pounded the city of Chennai over last few days. The Gateway of South India was severely affected and several localities in the city are ravaged with rain water. It is known that several Tollywood actors have raised funds for the flood victims with the help of NGOs.
One of the pioneers of web media in the country, Indiaglitz.com, has taken the initiative "Join Hands to Save Chennai" for the flood victims and pooled money, essentials including bed sheets, dhotis, sarees, towels, vessels, water, dal, rice, milk packets, juice tins, edible oil, sugar and other things.
