Neerja Bhanot is an upcoming 2016 Indian biographical film directed by Ram Madhvani starring Sonam Kapoor in lead titular role with story and screenplay by Saiwyn Quadras, dialogues by Sanyuktha Chawla Sheikh and produced by Atul Kasbekar under the banner of Fox Star Studios. Principal photography of the film began around 19 April 2015, and is set to release sometime in 2016.[1] The film's music rights are acquired by T-Series.[2] This film shows how a young flight attendant fought for the lives of her passengers.
The films official trailer launches on 17th December, 2015 on Fox Star Studios You Tube channel and social media properties. The trailer launch event will be attended by the late Neerja Bhanot's real brothers Akhil Bhanot and Aneesh Bhanot.[3]. The films official logo was launched on 15th December, 2015; 2 days prior to the trailer launch by Sonam Kapoor on her official Twitter handle and there by on Fox Star Studios social media properties. It was received well by the audiences and the film fraternity was a buzz with this news.[4] The theatrical trailer of the film Neerja will release on 18th December and is being attached to Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer film Dilwale_(2015_film) releasing on the same day
