The Migos made an appearance in court today to work out a resolution to their ongoing drugs and weapons case.
Offset, who was released from jail today, took a plea deal that cleared way for a favorable resolution for TakeOff and Quavo, according to Mark Winne of WSB.
According to Winne, Takeoff pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of less than an ounce of pot, which gave him a chance to have no conviction.
Quavo pleaded “no contest to a misdemeanor pot charge—less than an oz 12 months suspended based on payment of fine,” according to Winne.
Migos were arrested during their Georgia Southern University concert in April 2015 for possession of drugs and guns, according to Rolling Stone.
The group’s performance was cut short after police arrived on the scene. TMZ reports Quavo and Offset were arrested felony possession of cocaine, Oxycontin and codeine plus charges of carrying a loaded weapon in a school zone, according to TMZ.
According to the Bulloch Sheriff Department’s database, Quavo, born Quavious Marshall, and Offset, born Kiari Cyphus, were arrested , booked and charged with four counts apiece.
Offset was charged with two felonies, including, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, carrying a weapon in a school zone and two misdemeanors, including possession of marijuana.
Quavo was charged with three felonies, including, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a firearm and carrying weapon in a school zone and a misdemeanor marijuana charge.
