The video starts with a frightful scene: A young man walks towards the camera, raises an arm - a gleaming knife in his hand - and brings it down in a stabbing motion.
Released by the right-wing Israeli organization Im Tirzu, the clip comes as Israelis grapple with more than two months of almost daily stabbing attacks by Palestinians - and retaliatory action by Israelis -that highlights the growing gap between those on the right and left of the political spectrum.
On Wednesday, Education Minister Naftali Bennett, head of the ultra-nationalist Jewish Home party, announced he was banning the group from entering Israeli schools because members "incite against Israel Defense Forces soldiers."
A day earlier, bereaved parents of soldiers killed in combat sent a letter to Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon calling for him to stop the organization because they have "turned our sons into war criminals."
